Fourth of July
Fouth of July Poem
Independence Day
Summer's heat is now upon us
Time for picnics,camping,swimming
Now it is our nation's birthday
Day we celebrate our freedom
Fireworks going up in the sky
Bands playing, people singing
But to myself I ask the question
What did our forefathers die for?
Religious freedom was their goal
So that we could all pray freely
Worship God the way we want to
Keep Him sacred in our nation
As we celebrate this holiday
May we all be grateful for freedom
Land where we can make free choices
And thank God for all our blessings
